Create a fool’s list — I loved this exercise from the wonderful
on taking a piece of paper and scrawling eight words in a stream of consciousness style.
“There was no rhyme or reason behind it; I let my subconscious take the wheel. I was left with a group of curiosities that are decidedly not goals nor resolutions, with no due dates or conditions attached. They’re just words, related to concepts, that light me up a little inside.”
Some of the words that appeared surprised, some won’t make sense to anyone else, but they all brought a sense of ease. So she dubbed it The Fool…
