We can wait for the right time, the right space, the right design, the right tools, the right expertise—or we could be okay with alright and begin.

Saturday 2 September

I remember a friend’s mum once told me that when it comes to dating, make sure they’re kind. And I know it sounds so very obvious and so very bare-minimum, but when it comes to dating, I’ve long chased after people who weren’t even kind. I wish I listened to my friend’s mum sooner, but I’m so glad to be realising and relishing the lesson now.

Sunday 3 September

I see two lovers holding hands for a few strides while running.

Monday 4 September

I’m rewatching Before Sunrise and Celine says, “Isn't everything we do in life a way to be loved a little more?” and maybe that’s something to keep in mind when we’re perplexed by others—they’re just trying their best to be loved a little more.
