Dear cherished reader of things,
June was one of those months that felt like everything in it could fill an entire year, yet simultaneously seemed to pass by in the briskness of a day. Perhaps time always feels like this?
I moved to London, where I’m greeting a new life—a new share house, new work opportunities, new social circle, new dates, new places to explore.
Even in this current rush of newness, I keep thinking about how there is always an opportunity for something new in our days. As Henry Miller said, “One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.”
I’m wondering if you’re navigating anything new, too? A new life, a new day, a new way of seeing?
In any case, I hope this collection of things from the month offers something new to ponder. Now I’m a bit more settled, I’ll resume sending new things each week.
Here’s to whatever newness you might be greeting ❤️
